Various locations have been used for this event. Some of our favorites include Gold Creek, Widgeon Creek, and Buntzen Bay in Indian Arm. Usually the B.B.Q. is only accessible by boat. Some locations do have vehicle access.

The club provides the grill and coals. Participants provide whatever they want to grill and an extra dish (salad, desert, etc.) to share amongst others. Participants also provide their own plates, cutlery, cups and wet refreshments.

The day is filled with canoe games, races, and a whole lot of socializing. This is always a great event that is worth while to attend.
