This clinic is designed for people who have mastered the basic tandem strokes and wish to learn the skills necessary for flatwater solo canoeing. It may also be used as a refresher for solo canoeists to hone their skills or as a precursor to the Introduction to Moving Water clinic.

Equipment
Those taking the clinic are encouraged to provide their own canoes, personal floatation devices, and paddles. Equipment will be provided when this is not possible.
Transportation & Food
Participants will be responsible for their own transportation and meals for all sessions.
